Well kids, we need to face this early, books are important. And, just like Oprah has her Book Club, we here at The Rose Show have ours. -THE TURNING PAGES BOOK CLUB- This month's book is THE STORYBOOK BIBLE. This book is colorful, both with good stories lines and interesting characters. The plots are pretty straight forward, a lot of good verses evil, morals, and some nice color pictures. A big plus on this one is that your parents won't mind reading these stories over and over. And, if they do, you can make them feel guilty by remembering to recite a few lines from one of the other stories on Sunday morning. We are placing this book, high on our list with some of our past favorites: Nina Bonita by Ana Maria Machado Fairy Tales by the Brothers Grimm and An Inquiry Into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith (A little background reading for this "allowance" thing that we will be discussing in a few years).
