The Armoury is the principal museum of the Kremlin. It is located within the Kremlin
walls and contains a rich collection of the trappings of Tsarist royalty. From crowns
and travel coaches to armour and weapons, there are a lot of riches to see. And,
there are the Fabergé Eggs.
Ten of the fifty Easter eggs created by the St. Petersburg jeweler, Carl Fabergé,
for the Russian royal family are on display in The Armoury. The above photo does
not do justice to the detail in the craftmanship. Sorry, I don't know the name of
this egg. |
