Another stop up the Mismaloya Valley is Chino's Paradise. Located about half way up the drivable road, Chino's looks like Robinson Crusoe housing amid the jungle. Though billed by one tour company as "one of the area's most popular riverside restautrants," We were a bit too early to sample the offerings of Chino's kitchen. One of the Rio Mismaloya's clear and cool natural swimming holes exists just a few feet upstream from the restaurant. Many tours stop here for lunch and a swim. |
