Villa de la Selva is a clifftop restaurant on the other side of the hill from the
Westin Brisas. The view is great, especially at sunset. L&B had dinner there
on their first evening.
Though the food and wine were excellent, it was the light shows that commanded the
most attention. You'd hear conversations take a break as the sun shifted closer to
the horizon. And, as the sun slipped throught the final few degrees before hiding
for the night, most folks just stopped talking and watched the solar orb disappear.
With the sun gone, it was the flaming food and drinks that commanded attention. From
flambés and flaming ice cream to torched Sambuca and coffee drinks, there were
more than a few interesting dishes of delicious glowing delights. |
